2024 In A Nut Shell (Jan-Oct)

 

Time flies in 2024, like seriously?

This year is a fruitful year, yet many things have changed too.

Here are some of the beautiful moments during the 10 months.

 

Chinese New Year vibes with the loved dog!

 

This year, we brought the fur kids out a lot.

It was fun but the weather was really hot.

 

Spent time with family members and friends is still the thing I insist. 

This year, we brought the dogs to Karaoke too!

And of course, no one missed my birthday.

Early year with the Amigo, belated Christmas gift exchange, hoho!

Then everyone gather at my house for CNY party!

So happy to have them especially the one from Australia~

4 ang paos for me, haha! I love my girls!

And finally made my way to Ipoh to visit my uni bestie!

Really miss chatting with her, thank you for bringing me around!

Chinese New Year is always about gathering, so here is another one.

The Monkey Boy School gang!

Still a nostalgia feeling meeting these people.

It was a nice gathering for sure.

Later became a special celebration and CNY visit.

But of course, we met before CNY for random shopping.

Bro came back later as well, and celebrated birthday of the another 2 girls.

Second half of the year, we made time for each other too.

Celebrating birthday but everyone got a lovely gift!

And lastly, a random Chinese style dinner as we celebrate one last birthday for 2024.

Guess we only meet for birthday now since everyone has their own life.

Hmm...

Anyway, appreciate every moments we meet.

Celebrating Fathers & Mothers Day!

I love the idea if gifting bouquet. 

We made ourselves, that's the best part.

Then, volunteered in another Tzu Chi events, as a freelance make-up artist.

 

Thank you my friend for helping as well, I think we had a fun day!

This year, I am feeling different and unstable due to a lot of questions in my head.

So, decided to spend some time and money in searching for answers.

I believed that the universe will give you what you need.

And here I am, attending a class to understand myself better.

Meanwhile, I spent some time in volunteering with Tzu Chi.

Come visit their Zero Burden Market every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Other random moments:

 

Retirement of counseling teacher of my secondary school, thankful to have her as mentor.

Then I wanted to try this one meter long pizza, haha!

And 4 farewells for my colleagues this year, it was sad but also glad.

People come, and people go.

All the best my friend.

A lot of hard work this year, and also disappointment as I worked these out.

But thankful to the supporters and partners, I stayed strong and grow wiser.

People who care will show in action.

Not words. 

My first run for the year, perhaps also the last one.

Thank you L'Occitane for inviting us.

I had fun, together with the ladies that I like.

Other than that, some company activities were also quite fun.

 

And attended a book signing session.

And we lost Tom this year.....

He was sick, blind and weak...

I hope he had the best time of his life when he stayed with us.

We tried our best to keep him happy.

RIP, little Tom.

You will be missed.
