Summer Days 2021

 Yo.
It's been a while.
It is now my 7th month of being 30 years old...
I guess, it is not too bad after all.
Mixed feelings, but I am feeling ok.

2021 is another crazy year.
So far, my country is still having around 19-20k Covid-19 cases every day.
And the government changed AGAIN.
Urgh... tell me this is just a dream.
All kinds of nonsense and shit things happen,
more and more people die every day.

Working from home life is safer,
but we still have to go back to the office once in a while.
Thank god I bought a foldable table for my working life.
Good purchase.

And I've been spending most of my time in my room in front of the working table.
Besides working, I eat and do my kinds of stuff there.
Watch anime, upcycle, and do a lot of decluttering.
And surprisingly, I am really into this:
Upcycle basket using foil line packaging!
Huhu, I am impressed by myself, and I love the outcome.
But most importantly,
do you know how much plastic packaging is in here?
A LOT!

And some of the staples I used up to make the basket.
More than 20 boxes for sure.
I am buying more of these, in bulk.
Contact me if you want to learn how to make or purchase a basket.
It is really durable and all handmade.

Yea, my 30 years old is a bit boring,
I did not do much because I am lost a little bit.
Something happened and I do not really want to talk about it.
But I need to stay positive and stay negative from Covid-19.
Friends are away from me, relatives that I miss too...
No vacation goals and life is boring.
I miss flying and those cute flight meals ~
Anyway, let's all stay safe for now and be stronger.

This summer, received some gifts and love.
Thank you for the kind gesture.
I love bottles and tumblers...
Thank you!

And products~~~
A best friend gave me a bottle of expensive essential oil too, so nice la~
Huhu...I love unboxing~
Who doesn't like it?

And lovely delivery from my bestie and her kids~
Mooncake~~yummy, I love it!
Thank you for remembering me guys,
I am grateful, made my summer better.

And of course, another side of me loves to cook and bake.
For experimental purposes.
Here are my results:
Spaghetti with self-experimental bolognese sauce.
I love to create from scratch.

Cause I miss Siu Mai so much, tried to make my own vegetarian style,
but kinda fail, so yea~

Miss Tempura so much,
had to make my own, but the taste is so so.
How to make it crispier?

One food that I am confident in making.
Mee Suar Kor without meat, yum yum!

Then something I love too,
Cinamon rolls~~~
The one bread that I am confident too~

Then Italian doughnuts~with cream.
Hmm, good try but can be better~

Plain bread loaf,
too dry huh, get hard easily after overnight.

Then garlic butter from scratch,
I am good at this.

Chocolate cookies, this is another failure though look good.

Miss sushi again, so bought the ingredients and just make it!
Yea, so far, I have made more than the above,
but I don't take photos for everything.

And dinner invitation from cousin,
can you believe that this is a non-meat western meal?
The "meat" slice taste like real meat, this is crazy!

Still visit my grandparents once in a while.
It's good that both of them were vaccinated.

And yea, it was aunt's birthday celebration dinner.
Spot my new friend?
Haha!

Oh well, they have their own new member as well.
Meet Coco, the noisy and playful furkid~

Then cousin's birthday~
Quick diner and celebration.

And more birthday celebrations online~
Miss seeing these faces in real~
Happy 30th birthday to all~~~

Last but not least, this summer, we all got vaccinated.
I was a bit scared at first but well.

But end up it was a quick one.
I got myself Pfizer~~thank you frontliners~
Got feverish and terrible headache after my 1st dose...

But the second one was better.
Now I am fully vaccinated! Yay!
But nope, we are still in a critical situation.
Stay alert and follow SOPs okie?

So summer is going to end soon...
It is mid-September now...
What is your plan for the rest of 2021?
Seriously I have no plan.
I just hope that my work and job will be smooth.
No increment this year due to bad economic effects,
so wait and see what is going to happen next year.
Yea, being 30 is just something normal.
And it is good that I've finally watched the singing show:
Sisters Who Make Waves - Season 1
Thank you to all the sisters in the show who inspired me a little bit.
It is never too late to challenge ourselves.
It is time to redefine who you are.
30 is just a new chapter, it is a new beginning.
Maybe I have not achieved anything at the moment,
but not everyone is successful at the age of 30.
I am always mad at myself when I do nothing and am not productive,
maybe I need to try harder and be more disciplined.
Anyway, it is a good show very inspiring.
I binge-watched it in just a few days really crazy.
Hopefully, I will achieve something different by the end of 2021.
Cross fingers.

Oh ya,
meet the new member who keeps me busy every day.
Mr. Jerry in the house yo~
Love you, muacks.
